███ CIRCUIT BOARD Welcome, humans, to Circuit Board! A Non-AU East Asian entertainment roleplay community on the dreamwidth platform. ███ RULES ○ We know that many of our human members come from all over the world, therefore your modbots have implemented an advanced translating system on the Circuit Board server which will automatically show all entries and comments in your native language, whatever it may be. The Circuit Board also has incorporated a universal timeclock (EST/GMT+5) and we expect each and every human member to abide by it in public places. ○ The Circuit Board has a highly advanced masking system, with anonbots protecting your identity 24/7 (but please remember to turn off IP logging on your own system, our anonbots are unable to travel between personal servers). If you feel your identity has been compromised, please contact the modbots and they will remedy the situation immediately ○ Respect all your fellow humans and modbots. If you cannot resolve an issue amongst yourselves, civilly, a modbot will happily assist you. ○ Protectbots are working round the clock to stop any viruses therefore; meta-gaming, godmodding or anything of the like is strictly prohibited. If you happen to notice any flaws our protection programming report it to a modbot. ○ Circuit board servers require that each human be unique and have no commitments to any other servers. Cross-claiming and doubles will not be allowed on any public settings. How you choose to handle it on your own is at your discretion. Be warned, some humans are easily confused by another of their own face and can be turned away from interacting with you! ○ To keep the servers clean and running smoothly, modbots will do a monthly purging of the system. Any human who hasn't met the requirement will be removed from the circuit board at the end of every month! ███ REGISTRATION Before joining, please check that there isn't already a version of yourself here. Modbots don't understand doubles. ○ To register, please post to the main server. Even though modbots are extremely intelligent and have the most up to date programming, the rest of the humans can't be expected to know everything. So, include your name, band/occupation, aim screenname, any other social media outlets you use (twitter, weheartit, 8tracks, LINE, etc) and an introduction of a length you find appropriate. Be sure to tag with claim, otherwise you're account may not be registered successfully. ○ The modbots will approve you within 24 hours, pending a positive verification from the authobots, who make sure that your introduction is not blatantly OOC. Remember humans, this is not AU, you still must adhere to some of your real world laws and human-like personality traits. ○ A registration made at any time in the month, along with consistent activity after will keep your account safe from the modbots' purging. ███ PURGING ○ At the end of every month, the modbots will do a purge of the server in order to keep things tidy. To keep your account from being purged please there are three ways to do this: a post to the main server, three personal journal posts or posting a log of a scene from within the month and one journal post. In regards to posts to the main server: ○ Please try to refrain from posting only youtube videos or pictures without any substance and always utilize the cut feature. In regards to the scene posting option: ○ This would be posted on your journal. The scene has to have substantial content but can be ongoing or incomplete. We understand that sometimes scenes do take extended amounts of time and we want to allow for this. You are allowed to filter this scene and it will count for any muses actively involved; it can be a one on one scene or a group scene. ○ The reason that there is also a post required with this option is to ensure you are having a chance to have new members reach out to you either on your own server or our main server. ○ Modbots will be monitoring activity as best they can, both on AIM and within the Circuit Board, but if you notice that a human is squatting, please send a support ticket and the Modbots will take care of the situation as quickly as possible. ○ Any human that is going to be inactive for an extended period of time must post a hiatus to the main server to keep their account from being purged. A hiatus made in the last week of any month will not be registered and the account will be purged if activity hasn't been met. ███ NAVIGATION ○ Account Directory ○ Social Media Directory ○ Support ○ Blast |
